Sean & Debra 09.10.2011

Sean and Debra met in Middle School and "went out" the entire 8th grade year.  During High School and College they drifted apart and did not speak for years.  When they were in their 20's,  Debra became close friends with Sean's brother again and began spending time with his family.  They reconnected when Sean called her during a drive back to Connecticut from Arizona.  Sean was driving a friend home as a favor.  Sean and Debra talked on the phone the entire drive back (imagine how bored his friend must have been! ah, love!) and the rest is history!  In 2007 they had a beautiful baby girl, Taylor.  They got engaged on 01.23.09 and on 9.10.11 they got married at The Aqua Turf in Southington, CT.  A family friend, Bob Maloney (with the most far out stache I have ever seen) guided these two love birds through their nuptials.  The bride work a beautiful gown that was the exact same gown I wore on my wedding day.  I nearly burst into tears when I opened the bag for a peek at Bladez n Shadez in Meriden, CT where we started our day at for hair and make up. Entertainment for the day was provided by Anthony Avitable (another family friend) with Sound Spectrum Entertainment.  The cake was designed by Alyssa Porto with Alyssa's Cakery out of Wallingford, CT.  Below are a few of my favorite snaps from the day:

Pantano Family

A few weeks back I photographed the Pantano Family at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven.  It seems unreal to me that not so long ago I was capturing Amy during the pregnancy of her first child and now over a year later she has a happy-healthy family and they are prepping to celebrate a first birthday. It seems like just yesterday we were taking Mason's newborn photos...my, how time does fly!  Here are a few of my favorite snaps from the day:

Robyn & Company - Maternity Session

Today I had the pleasure of photographing Robyn.  You may feel like you have seen her face before, but you haven't.  That was her sister Amy.  Robyn is now expecting her second bundle of joy.  A baby boy, due 10.19.11.  Here are a few of my faves from today:

Lighthouse Point Park Maternity Session, New Haven

Today I had the pleasure of photographing the bump, soon to be known as Levy James.  You may recognize these two from their engagement session or wedding, meet James & Bianca.  We went to Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven to snap some sweet images for these two lovebirds and their growing bundle of joy.  I had a blast capturing these two, Pre-Levy. The park is absolutely stunning and has a lot of photo op places, especially the carousel.  James is practically the mayor of New Haven, so he pulled some strings and got us into the carousel - and what a treat! Levy is due 11.1.11 and I cannot wait to meet the little guy!

Ken & Amy

One evening in September of 2007, Ken & Amy locked eyes at a local restaurant - SBC in Milford .  He called her that night and they talked on the phone for 3 hours!  A few days later they went on their first date at Nello's in Milford.  They have been together ever since.  On July 2nd of 2010, Ken took Amy to Nello's again.  This time he popped the big ? and that is what brought us to Woodwinds on July 9, 2011.
