As many of you know, in October 2010 I will be marrying Scott Ferguson. Being a bride myself, I find I can relate to many of my clients right now. It is always ineresting being on the other side of the fence with things.
With that being said, I know it can be nerve racking picking out the perfect photographer, venue, band/dj, flowers, cake, and so forth. So during my process I have been trying to post information on my various choices in vendors and so forth (without giving away my whole wedding day).
I cannot post a photo of it (because I don't want to spoil the surprise for my guests), but I just got my sample invitation in from Sarah at Baumbirdy. I am beyond thrilled about the invitation. It is handmade, unique, and matches my personality perfectly! Sarah allowed me to add a little of my own twist on things. I initially found Sarah on http://www.etsy.com/. It has been such a pleasure to work with Sarah. Baumbirdy has been so accomodating to my needs and requests. They have come through for me and have had an excellent turn around time frame. I strongly suggest checking out Baumbirdy if you need invitations, save the dates, or programs. http://www.baumbirdy.com/ or http://www.etsy.com/shop/baumbirdy
Baumbirdy's work has been featured featured on: Martha Stewart Weddings website for favorite etsy crafters, DailyCandy - fall 2009 wedding guide, and in Southern Weddings Magazine - fall 2009.
Later on, in the next few months I will be doing a photo shoot with some of Baumbirdy's samples. Keep checking back on my blog for that post!
