Last week I had the opportunity to work with a fabulous engaged couple, Mike & Shannon. Mike & Shannon are high school sweethearts from a small Midwestern town in Illinois. I can relate to both of them, being that I moved from a small, close-knit town to Connecticut. I had such a blast photographing Mike & Shannon. In January, Mike made a Storybook/Scrapbook with pictures about his relationship with Shannon. Included in the book were topics such as: I knew I loved you when. He ended the story with his proposal. SO romantic! Mike and Shannon were incredibly open-minded and trusted my ideas. We shot at three different locations: Goveia Vineyard in Wallingford, Choate-Rosemary High School, and a local farm (where I literally just walked up to the farmer and asked if I could take some pictures at this farm). We were able to capture some fabulous shots! Mike and Shannon are planning a July 2010 wedding in Jamaica. They are such a gorgeous couple and I am sure they are going to have an amazing day. Congratulations Mike & Shannon!
